Two ways to belong

We’re here to support communities, not compete with them. The loneliness epidemic is real, but we also recognize the incredible work already being done by local leaders, organizers, and grassroots efforts. We don’t believe in parachuting into neighborhoods that didn’t ask for us. Instead, we wait for a clear invitation. Locals know what their community needs better than anyone, so we only show up where we’re wanted and welcomed.

We launch when you’re ready. Once 20 people from your neighborhood join the waitlist, the social club begins. You’ll receive a confirmation, timeline on when programming will start, and payment link.You can choose to pay monthly or seasonally, our members are busy people whose schedules shift with the seasons. Pick the option that works best for you.

Our model is inspired by Dunbar’s Number — the idea that humans can maintain meaningful relationships with around 150 people. “Exceed 150, and a network is unlikely to last long or cohere well.” Capping each neighborhood at 150 allows room to find your people without feeling socially overwhelmed. You won’t click with everyone, and that’s okay — there’s a high chance you’ll find a few who truly matter.

Yes! We are expanding to three additional US neighborhoods in 2027, with plans to expand globally. Once you’re a member, you’re welcome to attend events and meet members in other Nido neighborhoods when they become available. It's local first, but globally connected.
